Fantastic team. Did exactly what they said they’d do, when they said they’d do it. The guys worked solidly the whole day and fixed a couple of extra bits that needed doing without charging extra.
When they’d finished on the roof, Mike came down with a ladder and set it up in the hall by the cupola. I wondered what he was doing, but he then proceeded to pull down multiple small toys and balls that my 4 year old has chucked up there over the years. He’d spotted them from the roof and decided they needed rescued!
Highly recommend for both roof repairs and toy retrieval and they are also a lovely bunch.

“We chose these guys from a range of quotes to do some work on our tenement roof, because they were quite a bit cheaper as they use ropes instead of scaffolding. We were really pleased with the work they did, and they picked up some odds and ends while they were up there which we hadn’t spotted beforehand. They came when they said they would and got the job done well, so far as I can see. They’re very busy, so you might have to wait a while for then to come out to quote/do your job, but I guess that’s a good sign because it shows they’re in demand.“
We are Not just SLATE Surgeons… A whole lot of lovely Rosemary clay tiles went onto this re-roof. A beautiful cottage attached to a stunning house we look after for a favourite customer. The cottage was damp and the roof beyond repair. We were told to stop using the word ‘rot’ half way through this job. Don’t blame you, honestly! But its ok! Sorted, watertight, beautiful.

After a mystery leak, which had plagued us and baffled other roofing outfits for some time, the experienced team at Slate Surgeons took pains to comprehensively assess our situation. They located all areas needing attention and carried out the repair work in a single day to a very high standard.
I should also say that Slate Surgeons were able to quote competitively and, importantly, accurately: the work didn’t require a list of expensive resources or take long.
